In March EKOS completed a feasibility and options appraisal for the development of a Scottish Film and TV Studio – the study was commissioned by a steering group comprising Scottish Enterprise, Creative Scotland and the Scottish Government. The report identified the potential opportunities within the high-end TV and film markets, driven by a number of considerations including recently introduced tax incentives for production, and Scotland’s successes in attracting large US productions to Scotland.
