EKOS was commissioned by the BIG Lottery Fund Scotland to gather information from the social enterprise sector across Scotland. Our research involved extensive consultation with stakeholder organisations and desk-based research to identify and record third sector trading organisations and social enterprises. The information was used to prepare a detailed overview (or map) of the sector and how it contributes to the Scottish economy.
